Good evening everyone!
This is Nori speaking!
Since this morning, I am dying to eat Yakitori therefore I called my friend Ganchan who is expert in Yakitori cuisine to ask him to take me to his favorite Yakitori place!

▲ This is Ganchan.
He took me to a place called “Kokepiyo” in Daikan-yama!
I am super excited!
We walked 5 min from the station and he told me that this is the place..

▲ Wait…
This must be the “Kokepiyo”’s advertise at the entrance,, but something is wiered…
It says “Children” “Feeding milk” and etc….
What is this???

▲ We came down the stairs and this is the house!

▲ Cheers! (whisky soda)
This house has it’s own system: we order a course of yakitori and add extra dishes as we wish.
As we want to try many different dishes, we chose the course that offers 5 different Yakitori
The appetizer of the course was this! ‘Simmered Taro in sweetened soy sauce’

▲ The melty texture of the Taro goes very nice with the Miso sauce!
The next is ‘Chicken breast’!!

▲ This is also lightly seasoned and easy to eat xD perfect for an appetizer!
The waiter brought a basket of fresh vegetables to tell us what are special for today.

▲ He explained each of them.

▲ All these vegetables are locally produced and 100 per cent organic! We ordered the Oyster mushroom xD
The course continues!

▲ ‘Suigou Aka chicken’
It is cooked with sophisticated techniques…!! Looks beautiful and tastes awesome! It is very juicy and the texture is subtle and perfect.

▲ The master cooking the Yakitori… Professional work is like an art!
Then the next is‘Quail’s egg’!

▲ Then‘Niiiiiice xD’!!!
Then‘Chicken meatloaf made with egg (Tsukune)’!!!

▲ ‘Can you see how juicy this Tsukune is?’
It is served with raw egg. The hot Tsukune taste beautiful with it!!!!!
To refresh our mouths, we got a salad now.

▲ ‘Organic vegetable salad’
Then the last dish of the course is ‘Gizzard(Sunagimo)’!!!

▲ Light and tasty
Before getting to the last dishes, I would like to show you how the house looks like.

▲ Table seats next to the bar counter

▲ Private rooms with Tatami
Looing nice for a group of people like family.

▲ And look!!!
It says “Milking room” !!!
Now I understand why “Children” and ”Milking room” were written at the entrance xD
It seems like this house is family friendly too!!!!
How thoughtfull!!!
Now I returned to my table and the next dish has arrived.

▲ Chicken neck meat (Seseri)This is my best favorite Yakitori! ‘Chicken neck meat (Seseri)’
It’s juicyyyyyyy xD !!!!!

▲ ‘Oyster mushroom (Hiratake)’
This fresh and thick mushroom has such a grate texture!!

▲ ‘Skewered chees’

▲ xD
The course was complete with the Miso-soup in the end. It was all fantastic!!!
Very sophisticated cooking and variety of the menu! I was totally satisfied!!!
