Hello everyone. This is Ushi reporting!
Few days ago a friend of mine told me about one Thai restaurant in Ebisu and since then I was looking for an opportunity to visit there.
Tonight with my friend Nori who lives in Ebisu area (He also writes this gastronomy blog sometimes so you may recognize him) I came here!
Its called “Thai Yatai LaoLao”, just a minute walk from JR Ebisu station east exit.
It’s small and cozy and I like this atmosphere. I have never been in Thailand but this is similar to the image that I have for Thailand xD
We ordered the first appetizer!
Tastes very healthy!
It was a good choice as the first dish!
I love this bunch of coriander!!
Such a funny name! but it was truly super yummy!
The sauce has deep tastiness and the chili is a perfect accent! I wish to eat white rice with this sauce…
That’s why I ordered this.
I wanted to pour the sauce on the rice but Nori took this little portion of rice and
So I should try the same!
Thai sticky rice goes super good with the sauce!
I seriously recommend this to everyone!!!
This is grate for beer!!!!
There were 5 levels of spiciness and we ordered the level 3.
It was very spicy hot and we were sweating so much although the taste is nice!
At first sight, it only looked just an ordinary potato salad but truly tasted green curry!!!! Interesting!!
The texture is awesome! The seasoning is grate too!
We wanted to have hot pod as the main dish and had a look on the menu.
This is fascinating! Coz we could enjoy in two ways! We could do Shabushabu the meat in the soup in the corner of the pod or grill the meat in the middle of the pod.
Two different types of sauce were served. ‘Green chili hot and sour sauce’ and ‘Red chili sweet and hot sauce’. I personally liked the red one better xD
This dish made us warm and it was a right choice for this cold winter evening.
We could totally understand why this place is so popular. Overall, it has been a fantastic dinner!
Thank you very much! LaoLao!
